PipeCraft policies
Cookie Policy
Effective date: August 2026
Your choice
PipeCraft does not load Google Analytics or send Analytics requests until you choose Accept analytics. Choosing Reject analytics provides the same access to the website. Both options are presented with equal prominence.
You can change your decision at any time through Cookie preferences in the footer.
Storage used at launch
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| pc_consent_v1 | PipeCraft | Remembers the selected analytics preference, policy version and choice date | 180 days |
| _ga | Google Analytics | Distinguishes a browser for audience measurement after consent | Up to 2 years |
| _ga_* | Google Analytics | Maintains and counts sessions after consent | Up to 2 years |
pc_consent_v1 is stored in first-party local browser storage and is not reused as an analytics or advertising identifier. Google Analytics cookies are not created when analytics is rejected.
Cloudflare may use strictly necessary security storage, such as a short-lived challenge or clearance cookie, only when its security systems require it. Such storage protects the website and is not controlled by the Analytics preference.
Analytics configuration
Analytics is used to understand aggregate readership, page engagement and technical performance. Advertising storage, advertising user data, advertising personalization, Google Signals, User-ID and user-provided data are disabled at launch.
Google Tag Manager is loaded only after analytics consent. It does not create a separate PipeCraft preference cookie; PipeCraft uses it to load the approved Google Analytics tag. The current container contains no advertising tags.
PipeCraft does not use advertising cookies, remarketing or cross-site tracking at launch. Introducing AdSense or another advertising service requires this policy and the consent interface to be reviewed before activation.
Withdrawing consent
Opening Cookie preferences allows you to reject analytics after previously accepting it. PipeCraft then records the rejection, removes accessible first-party Analytics cookies and reloads the page without loading the Analytics tag. Requests already sent before withdrawal cannot be recalled.
Browser controls may also delete or block storage. Deleting the PipeCraft preference causes the banner to be shown again.
